This Easy Oven Fries Recipe is perfectly seasoned French fries, baked in oven, crispy on outside, soft on inside.

Oven fries are my favorite growing up, to be honest, they still are. I had not own a deep fryer and I don’t fry at home anymore, but these baked fries deliver everything that I want: crispy edges, soft centers, simple seasoning and almost no message.

How To Make These Crispy Oven Fries 

  1. Peel potatoes if you want. And cut into ¼ inch matchsticks.
  2. Soak in cold water for 15-30 minutes. This step can helps to remove surface starch.
  3. Then, rinse and dry thoroughly. Drying those are essential.
  4. Heat oven to 425F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
  5. Toss potatoes with oil and salt and spices.
  6. Spread on the sheet, and leave space between fries 
  7. Bake them for 15 minutes, flip and bake for 15-20 minutes more until golden and crisp.
  8. Later rest it for 5 minutes and then serve.
